Are you a guy or a girl? Born biologically female, I have spent most of my life identifying somewhere in the middle.  I am now legally male, and use all male pronouns (he, his) except when I am wearing high heels.  Yes, I still have a cunt, and really like using it.  I spent 8 years as an adult film actor under the name “Bridgett Harrington,” and still use the porn name “Brian Harrington” that I always used in my lesbian/male identified porn.  On this site, anything featuring “B. Why did you start this website?

When I got back to the states in 2000 I started a website called "Welcome to the MortalCity", where I shared my kinky adventures, my naughty photos of me and my friends, and kept a journal. The site got so popular that I couldn't afford to keep hosting it for free. Add to that a decision to try to make my kink life my full time career in late 2002, and RopeLover was the inevitable next step. I started out updating *maybe* once a week- and by 2005 I was doing so much kink on film that I got to updating 3-4 times a week. It was time for a new look. I brought in my friend Cloei from NakkidNerds.com to help me plug the PHP coding, and that gave birth to this, the third incarnation of my presence on the 'net.  I am now entering a fourth age, which in many ways is a return to the first.  I have split my endeavors in two- moving all of my educator and how to hire me information to PassionAndSoul.com, and have taken RopeLover back to what MortalCity used to be- a tale of my journey in porn.  I am no longer going to be hiding the bulk of my personal life smut as I had started to do in the past 4 years of this site- I am going back to showing the reality that is me- artistic high quality porn mixed with raw dirty smut from my day to day life.  I brought the amazing Yasmin Ling of EncasementBondage.com on to help with the fourth incarnation, and I hope you enjoy my journeys through sexuality, gender, desire, fucking, kinky life, teaching and fun.

Where do you live?

As of October 2006, I've gone internationally nomadic. I regularly spend time in Seattle, Portland, New York, Phoenix, Sydney, London... and so many other places! I love to travel, and have lived in Ireland, England, and all over the West Coast of America in recent years.

Do you ever have normal sex?

I used to be a member back in 2003, what happened to the old content?

I have chosen to remove some of the images off of RopeLover, as well as some of the video.  We hit a point where RopeLover had over 40,000 images, and a LOT of those I did not like.  So, I’ve taken a variety of images down.  Some may come back up later, in the form of “archive” sets from the vaults, while others may never return as part of complying with US porn laws.  If there is a set you recall and want to see again, please email me and I’ll let you know if I can repost them.  You can also use the internal search engine in the members area to search by shoot date, so you can scroll back just to see images shot in 2001, or see only the most newly created images as I often post sets out of order to give variety each week.  The search engine is an amazing feature on RopeLover- you can use it to search for your favorite model, photographer, erotic desire, or type of smut.

How did you learn your bondage?

In 2K, back from England and a stint as a hard-core bullwhip submissive and rubber mistress, I was doubly blessed by being suspended for the first time, and by learning how to do some incredible rope work from Temple-mates at BurningMan. My minor fetish for being bound and ropes in general roared loud in my belly, and I was off and running like a madman. I downloaded images, reverse-engineered old issues of SM Sniper, tied up my girlfriends, boyfriends, lovers, friends, strangers, chairs... yes, I got a bit carried away. I tied myself up more than ever... found the joys of quality nylon versus cheap solid core line (I worked at Home Depot at the time), rigged my own versions of Lou Duff's rope corset, went to any workshop I could find, watched as many bondage scenes as I could. Somewhere along the way I was blessed again by being introduced first to hemp rope.

Since then I've hosted bondage-only parties and workshops, presented at events like KinkFest, Leather Retreat and TESFest, been to even more workshops, taught a few private students what I've picked up... it's a labor of love. Do all the kinks on your site turn you on?
